10 Times Women's Wrestling SERIOUSLY Kicked Ass

9. Shayna Baszler DESTROYS The Opposition

Elimination Chamber 2020 was the last WWE premium live event before a global pandemic stopped (just about) everyone and everything in its tracks.

Wrestling wasn't one of those things, but Shayna Baszler as the new most destructive force in all of women's wrestling was, and more's the pity after watching her monster an entire division in the event's titular headline bout.

The ex-cage fighter kicked f*cking *ss in a cage and it ruled hard. 'The Queen Of Spades' entered fourth, drilled Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott and Natalya with wince-inducing shots with her fists, knees and a pod door (!) before tapping them one by one. Next was Liv Morgan, who had her head swung into the cage plexiglass pods with absolutely terrifying force. Only Asuka remained, and while the 'Empress Of Tomorrow' was the closest to stopping the path of rage in a wicked mini-match, Baszler fought on and tapped her too.

It had been so long since the company booked anybody with such conviction that many fans were up in arms about the supposed mistreatment of the other women. A definitive winner being crowned as such broke the brains of those raised on too steady a diet of WWE trying to protect everybody to such an extent that nobody rises above.
