10 Times Wrestlers Ate Thumbtacks

Infamously, Mick Foley (as Mankind) grimaced as he felt thumbtacks enter his body at the 1998 King Of The Ring. Just one in a series of show-stopping bumps Foley was on the receiving end of, an Undertaker Chokeslam onto the tacks was the least of Mick's worries. In his own words, he barely even remembers much of the Hell In A Cell classic.

Landing on one's back can't be fun, certainly when taking into account the fact that deadly sharp pins are on the mat. At the 2000 Royal Rumble, Foley (this time under the guise of Cactus Jack) landed on his front. Taking a Pedigree from Triple H, he completely straightened his body and prepared for the worst.

It was an incredible spectacle, and it legitimately looked like Foley had been destroyed by the move. The thunderous Street Fight had already become a 'Match Of The Year' contender, but this stunt elevated it into another league entirely.

Tacks were on Foley's legs, arms, stomach, chest, waist and even on his face. Ouch.
