When it comes to underrated and often forgotten characters that were pretty damn awesome, Chief Morley is one that must sit near the top of the list. Chief Morley was Val Venis corporate, a high-ranking member of the Bischoff Administration. Maybe it was the whole porn star gimmick past or just Morley's ability, but he was a perfect fit.

On Raw in March 2003 however, he had to deliver the unfortunate news that Lance Storm and William Regal would be stripped of the World Tag Team Championship due to William Regal's illness (he was actually injured). Using his executive powers, Morley named himself and Storm as the new champions.

They didn't hold the titles long, losing them just one week later to the wonderful thrown together duo of Rob Van Dam and Kane.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
