10 Times Wrestlers Secretly LIED To The Locker Room

5. Triple H

AJ Styles Vince Russo
WWE

Captured in all its gross glory on the groundbreaking Wrestling With Shadows documentary, Triple H very literally swearing to secrecy in conversation with Julie Hart (and in front of a host of wrestlers) is an all-time billy bullsh*ter moment from one of the shrewdest political operators in the history of the industry.

There he is - one of an army of men and women that have no clue what to do with themselves in the immediate backstage aftermath of the Montreal Screwjob - refusing eye contact but making specifically clear to anybody who'll listen that he had no idea what had happened to 'The Hitman' despite being the one to shout up and suggest it in the first place.

He "swears to god" and all that, before making one last futile attempt to reason with her. Of course, both he and Shawn Michaels were told to do just that by Vince McMahon...
