It was a typically catastrophic episode of TNA iMPACT in January 2011 when Karen Angle (now Jarrett) returned after a three year absence. Interrupting ex-husband Kurt Angle's beatdown of new husband Jeff Jarrett, Karen promised answers next week instead of right then and there for some reason.

Karen Angle reportedly began seeing Jeff Jarrett during her divorce from the Olympic Hero in 2008. While TNA initially kept the story hush-hush, they went all out on this soap operatic feud in the wake of everything being revealed on an episode of the Bubba the Love Sponge show in 2009.

What followed was a feud so trashy even Vince Russo might've been blushing backstage. Airing all of their real life troubles on screen, the trio butted heads over custody of Angle's kids, vow renewals and Jarrett fleeing to Mexico. Eric Bischoff has since acknowledged the uncomfortable nature of the storyline but commended all three talents for their professionalism throughout.

Despite having some entertainment value (mostly thanks to the in-ring talents of the two wrestlers involved), the feud was ultimately a frivolous exercise in cheap heat. This goofy crack at a blood feud dragged out too long, ultimately ruining Kurt Angle's babyface run in TNA at the time.
