More than a few heads were turned when The Undertaker finally decided to drop his tried and tested Deadman gimmick in favour of a complete American Badass overhaul back in 2000. For many, the sight of the former paranormal figure now sporting a bandana and a fresh new attitude was too much to take in all at once.

However, The Phenom did actually offer us a glimpse into this eventual reality many years earlier during an appearance on the front cover of the November 1995 edition of WWE magazine.

He may have still been decked in his then-signature purple gloves, pale face, and sunken eye make-up, but it doesn't take a genius to spot the seed for an American Badass that The Demon of Death Valley is straddling whilst staring a whole through whichever poor soul opted to purchase the mag.

'Taker was always a chopper man at heart, and was clearly angling for some motorcycle action five years before taking the roof off of the place in front of an enraptured Monday Night Raw crowd.
