10 Times Wrestlers Were Embarrassed On Live TV (That You Totally Forgot About)
7. Ethan Page Cinematic Battle Against Karate Man Flops
Among all the hype surrounding AEW's surprise debutant in the recent Face of the Revolution match, it was quickly forgotten just how badly Ethan Page's time in IMPACT wrestling came to an end before his AEW arrival.
Taking on the Karate Man (in other words, himself) in a cinematic showdown, fans were treated to a laughable affair at Hard to Kill which looked like it had been pieced together by a half-interest teenager. Page himself shared these sentiments upon watching back the disaster that was his IMPACT "death", expressing his embarrassment at IMPACT's "hot garbage" editing of his alter-ego battle on The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast Group via his Facebook account.
Claiming that the company lied to him as he was on his way out and did entirely what they wanted with the footage, Page then proceeded to take some time off from social media before later becoming All Elite and joining forces with Scorpio Sky.
And judging from Page's comments post-IMPACT departure, don't expect to see the Karate Man spring up in the land of AEW any time soon.
