10 Times Wrestlers Were HORRIBLE To Fans

9. The Ultimate Warrior Is Nasty To The Least Deserving Person Imaginable

So the Ultimate Warrior had - allegedly! - a moment of madness in an airport.

Give the guy a break. Maybe he was having a bad day. Maybe his flight was delayed by several hours. Maybe they lost his luggage. Maybe they were a resident of the devastated city of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Happens to the best of us!

Who amongst you, for example, hasn't lost their temper down the phone at a random and innocent customer service worker when you've been mildly inconvenienced by somebody else?

Who amongst you hasn't blanked a terminally ill child when their dying wish was to meet you?

According to Bret Hart's autobiography, Hitman: My Real Life In The Cartoon World Of Wrestling, a terminally ill child mere hours from death was lying on a stretcher outside of the locker room. They wore Warrior face paint and, around what was left of their arms, Warrior's signature tassels. Every wrestler on the roster, on their way out of the ring, expressed their gratitude.

WWF personnel asked Warrior if he was ready to meet the child. His response?

"In a f*ckin' minute, I'm busy."

He never ended up meeting the child in what is perhaps the ultimate illustration of character. You are who you are when nobody is looking.

Warrior was egregious when everybody was looking, and was even worse when he thought nobody was.
