10 Times Wrestlers Were Injured By The Fans

8. Jeff Jarrett

This one comes courtesy of Lance Storm's memory.

He replied to a recent Dave Meltzer tweet (about fans chucking stuff into the ring and thus endangering wrestlers) by recalling the time he watched Jeff Jarrett take a full can of soda to the head. This happened in WCW, and must've been between 2000-2001. That's when Lance worked there.

According to Storm, Jeff "didn't drop from it" and continued on working his bit. That impressed the Canadian, because he could see that Jarrett was in visible pain from the blow. Nobody can blame him for that - an aluminium can to the face would've been bad enough empty, but the thing was still unopened.

It'd be a shocker if ol' J-E-Double F didn't have to get checked over by doctors when he returned backstage. He surely had a graze, cut or something on his face/head after that one. Either that or Jarrett has a head made of solid steel.
