10 Times Wrestlers Were Too Silly For Their Own Good

8. Elias

When he's serenading fans, the sheer size of Elias gets lost. He might not be the tallest in the ring, but he's still stacked and doesn't lack in power. He may not be the greatest technician, but he's decent in the ring whenever he gets to land some offense. In combination with his verbal skills, WWE's resident rock star should be primed for the upper-cards.

Sadly, Elias spends most of his time floundering around the lower-card, picking up few wins in the process.

Aside from musical talents that have regulated him to a reincarnation of Jeff Jarrett's schtick, Elias' sense of comedic timing, as well as the laughable way he sells defeat, have done him little good.

Standing next to main eventers, Elias fits right in with his overall look and physique. He can also go line-for-line with some of the best on the mic. Nonetheless, his only chance of reaching the brass ring is to convince creative to portray him as more of a serious threat than a sacrificial lamb. Based on history, though, it's doubtful that his character will ever be revamped in any meaningful way.
