9. Emma Knocks Out Becky Lynch
The 26 August 2015 episode of NXT featured a fatal-4-way match between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Dana Brooke, and Emma. Two of the four horsewomen of WWE were in the contest, and it was easy for one to assume one of them would pick up the win in the match. However, a botched ending saw Emma walk out with the accidental victory.
Near-falls are a device all wrestling promotions have done to death over the years, with the wrestlers kicking out at the last possible moment. However, Becky Lynch got knocked out during the match, which rendered her unable to kick out at the right time.
Emma performed her usual corner Cross Body Blocks on Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, but it seems Emma landed a bit too hard on the latter as Lynch couldn't get her shoulders up on time when the referee counted the pin. Emma looked stunned after the referee finished the three count, and the silence during the small gap between the pinfall and Emma's music hitting felt like hours.
All four competitors looked confused after the ending, and the expressions on their faces made it clear that they were walking backstage to get an earful.
