Toni Storm is on the best run of her career with her "Timeless Toni Storm" character in All Elite Wrestling, where she's already a 3-time Women's World Champion. Her WWE run didn't turn out as expected, as her career fell flat after leaving the NXT system for the main roster.

Before she made her way into WWE, she had a decent run on the independent circuit and made strides while working for the Japanese promotion World Wonder Ring Stardom. She held the company's top title, the World of Stardom Championship, for 258 days - which wasn't the original plan.

Toni Storm wasn't supposed to get the victory when she challenged Mayu Iwatani for the title at the Stardom 5STAR Grand Prix event in September 2017. However, Iwatani sustained a legitimate dislocated elbow two minutes into the match after an awkward collision with the bottom rope. The referee had to stop the contest and award the title to Toni Storm, who held on to the opportunity, reigned supreme for 258 days, and even defeated Iwatani in a title defense the following year.

By the time she lost the title to Kagetsu in June 2018, she had already signed a contract with WWE and went on to win that year's Mae Young Classic tournament.
