10 Times Wrestling Companies Had To Apologise To Fans

7. An ROH Fan's Bully Ray Experience

Few wresters in the modern era have pushed boundaries quite as much as Bully Ray when it comes to going all-out to be the most detestable scumbag imaginable.

From his ECW days as Bubba Ray Dudley, this tag team icon would see the line and step way, way over it in order to get the most amount of genuine hatred from a crowd. Seriously, just go back and watch some of those old ECW days - Heat Wave 1999 as a prime example - and it is insane to see what lengths Bubba would go to.

The whole Dudley Boyz act obviously had to be toned down once in WWE, but Bubba was quick to push the envelope once more upon landing in TNA Wrestling and eventually embarking on his Bully Ray singles push.

Point being, Bully Ray is someone who is never afraid of confrontation. And during his 2019 tenure in Ring of Honor, this WWE Hall of Famer wasn't shy about imparting his words and wisdom backstage on a fan who was being a little too rowdy and obnoxious towards the Allüre trio of Velvet Sky, Angelina Love and Mandy Leon.

From the wrestler, he merely had a casual chat with this fan. From the fan in question, he was berated and intimidated by the former Aces & Eights leader.

Where ROH was concerned, they issued an apology, explaining how "under no circumstance should any of our athletes or staff confront or engage fans outside the bounds of this entertainment experience or outside the bounds of the area that hosts this experience".
