10 Times Wrestling Crowds Actually RUINED The Moment

8. Mobile, Alabama No-Sells Evolution's Return

It's the summer of 2014, and though Daniel Bryan is on his way out with injuries, WWE is still red hot, with The Shield collectively taking control as the company's top babyface. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns always had something to offer any time their music hit. Even better, they almost always won, sending the fans home happy after watching some hapless heels get a thorough butt-whoopin'.

Triple H, head of the authority, had had enough, and set The Shield up against almost the entire heel locker room. Still putting on a good fight, the numbers game eventually had them over-matched. Just as the beatdown really picked up, some music hits, beginning with the quiet but eerily familiar ticking of a clock, leading into the iconic power-chords from Motorhead.

Only one fan in the whole arena was clued into what was happening as Evolution's insignia came onto the screen. Save for his lone "Woah!", the rest of the arena was disturbingly quiet. Out came Triple H, Randy Orton, and Batista, three of the men behind one of WWE's most powerful stables, and the crowd goes mild!

Perhaps in another city like Philadelphia or New York City, fans could have been a bit more receptive. But Mobile, Alabama failed to do their job in making the return of a Hall of Fame level faction feel like a big deal.
