The 2015 Royal Rumble match is a damning indictment of everything that is wrong with the WWE right now. Showing that they hadn't learned their lesson from the previous year, the WWE once again went with a winner fans would not support. It's ironic too, as those same members of the WWE Universe would have been overjoyed had Roman Reigns won in 2014! Unfortunately, the end of The Shield would serve as proof that unlike Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, Reigns just can't cut it as a singles star, with his limited moveset and laughably bad promo skills proving turning cheers into jeers over the course of a few short months. The WWE must have known it too, as they did their very best to make Roman look "strong". Eliminating Daniel Bryan early on would only upset fans more than if he'd been eliminated at the very end, and not even bringing out The Rock to stand beside his cousin helped. As a result, a hashtag would trend on Twitter for over a day which suggested that WWE fans should cancel the WWE Network (though an announcement would follow shortly after revealing that it had hit 1 million subscribers). Regardless, the story made headlines on major news sites, and the whole situation appears to have prompted the WWE to reconsider the main event at this year's WrestleMania. Have the fans won again? Bring on Fast Lane!
