It reads more as a bag of assorted action figures you'd find in your attic than a memorialisation of fifteen years for the red brand. Various rows, disputes, and decaying ring prowess presumptively left WWE without the capacity to promote a Razor Ramon or a 1-2-3 Kid, for instance, but surely - surely - Skinner wasn't the only option left? For accuracy, Skinner had wrestled just twice on Raw prior to this bizarre December 2007 resurgence; he was ousted from a fifteen-man Battle Royal that was one by Razor Ramon before, the subsequent week, he was duly pinned by The Undertaker. He was barely a nod to WWE's past, let alone Raw's past, when Justin Roberts introduced the Everglades resident to a throbbing chorus of nothingness.

It was embarrassing, if not pitiful.

Mind you, the Connecticut faithful barely voiced their opinion for the major stars of the match - DiBiase, Slaughter, Backlund, et al - instead creating a roaring response for its filler, such was the live audience's ineptitude for the time.
