10 Times WWE Absolutely Nailed A Wrestler's Presentation
7. Finn Bálor
The Demon entrances that became a staple of Bálor's PPV appearances were cool, and certainly reflective of his time in the Indies as a wrestler who revelled in cosplay. However, while that presentation was strong, his standard appearances and simple visual flair were utterly spectacular.
There was something truly magical captured in the lighting and motifs of Bálor’s entrance, as he ventured to the ring with the utterly infectious Catch Your Breath playing in the background. His calm and collected walk would be juxtaposed with a sudden burst of energy as he jumped into an incredibly open pose, and all the lights would focus on him. This had an "all eyes on me" energy that made Finn seem like an utter star in the making, and somehow didn't come across as vain.
It's a massive shame that this didn't translate to the main roster. Even before his time on Raw soured, this entrance didn't feel as personal against a massive crowd, which was an early warning sign that Bálor really belonged in NXT. Thankfully he has found his way back there, and while his current run is still a far cry aesthetically from his early days, it has bad-ass energy that reflects his rise to infamy in NJPW, so deserves to be mentioned as well.
