10 Times WWE Blew Their One Big Shot

1. The Four Horsewomen Vs The Four Horsewomen

Four Horsewomen Duel

A few entries on this list rely on a bit of fantasy booking to get them over the line, but WWE had all eight wrestlers and perfect timing on their hands when it came to booking a Four Horsewomen Vs Four Horsewomen dream match in early 2019. Instead, it slipped through their fingers to perhaps never return.

WrestleMania 35 was set to feature a Ronda Rousey, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a blockbuster double title main event, along with Bayley and Sasha Banks defending their Tag Team Championships. Two nights earlier, Shayna Baszler would be putting her NXT Championship on the line with Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke in her corner.

Fastlane 2019 could and should have provided the perfect platform for the contest, won by the MMA heels to cast doubt on the characteristics of the more experienced in-ring quartet. Worked as a one-fall rather than elimination tag, Banks and Bayley struggling to keep Becky and Charlotte from in-fighting ahead of 'the Show of Shows' could have opened the door for the 'Queen Of Spades' to score one her biggest win yet. The Horsewomen basking a little more in 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet's reflected glory as the show went off the air could have made them even before Baszler got her eventual call-up.
