The 2014 Royal Rumble match will become legendary for all the wrong reasons. Infuriated by the non-inclusion of favourite Daniel Bryan, fans turned on the match and eventually winner Batista. The fan backlash was so bad that WWE was pretty much forced to acquiesce and add Bryan to the 'Mania main event. But they should have sensed that the crowd was going to react earlier, called an audible and put Bryan in the match. A returning Rey Mysterio was number thirty. Up until Rey's entrance, there was still hope Bryan might appear but when the masked man's music hit that was when fans really turned on the match (and on Rey). WWE really screwed Mysterio over by having him enter last. The boos reigned down and didn't let up as Rey hit his usually fan-friendly offense.
