5. CM Punk Returns To WWE (Monday Night Raw, 2011)

It's probably not going to happen in 2020, so we may as well revel in the fact that we've already predicted a CM Punk return and gotten it right once in the past.

At the close of 2011's iteration of the Money in the Bank PPV, Punk whisked away into the night - equipped with a shiny new WWE Championship belt - after taking down John Cena and the WWE empire.

What was next?

Would he make good on his promise to defend the belt in NJPW and ROH?

Would he simply sit at home with a nice cold Pepsi and continue to enjoy the view of the most illustrious belt in all of wrestling chilling in his fridge?

Of course not. We all knew in our heart of hearts that it wouldn't be long before 'Chick Magnet' Phil would be strutting back down the WWE ramp with the company's top belt once more.

OK, perhaps we didn't know it would be less than two weeks later, but we knew it was coming.

Did that stop the Monday Night Raw capacity crowd that night attempting to pierce a hole through the roof of the arena in response to the first few bars of 'Cult of Personality' reverberating around the building?

Nope, and it still stands as one of the greatest moments of an otherwise underwhelming Summer of Punk.
