4. Bram And Charlotte

From 2013 to 2015, Charlotte Flair was married to former TNA King of the Mountain Champion Bram. They met whilst working for WWE, with Bram signing a developmental contract in 2010 and Charlotte later signing in 2012. But Bram would be released from his contract the same year Charlotte signed after being charged with battery of a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication. It left the couple in an awkward situation, with Bram then having to go it alone on the independents and in TNA whilst Charlotte strived to get better in NXT.

Bram said at the time of them working for two different companies:

“I’m doing my own thing in TNA and she’s doing her own thing there. We have a bond in wrestling and in most relationships, wrestling can get in the way. We both understand when we’re away for a long time or we’re hurt or you’ve got to do things some people wouldn’t be too happy with. There’s a nice understanding there which makes our relationship a lot easier.”

It ultimately didn’t work out for the two in the long run, with the couple separating in 2015 when they rarely had time to see each other with Charlotte being on the road constantly. Since then Charlotte’s had to go through the exact same situation, with her new fiancée Andrade asking for his release from WWE in March 2021 and being granted it after believing he wasn’t being showcased to the best of his abilities.
