10 Times WWE Gave The Internet Wrestling Community What They Wanted

7. The Ryder Revolution

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8g_TTzr6xN4 Zack Ryder was a wrestler who seemed like he would never go anywhere. Starting out as a groupie of WWE Hall of Famer Edge, along with Curtis Hawkins, Ryder was on the fast track to jobber status. But there was something about the Long Island Iced-Z that fans were attracted to. His underdog status, catchy theme and intriguing personality began to shine through. As Ryder was trying to build something that could take him higher up the card, WWE management was less than enthused and he rarely, if ever, saw action on any of the television shows or PPV's. But the Ryder Revolution would not be stopped. As fans poured into arenas with chants of "We Want Ryder", you could sense a storm bewing. You could sense that change was on the horizon. The IWC had a revolution on their minds, and they wanted it to be televised. They had chosen Ryder, and he was their guy. Ryder was catapulted straight to the top of the upper midcard, and was given the rub by guys like John Cena and even Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. Ryder went on to work with United States Champion Dolph Ziggler, winning his first singles title at TLC 2011. He was a rocket ready to take off, and the WWE had clearly been hearing what the IWC wanted. The Ryder Revolution has been on a bit of a decline recently, to put it lightly. Ryder's time in the sun was an exciting time, and if you were a member of the Zack Pack, you were probably on cloud nine.
