10 Times WWE Got Their Own BAD Ideas WRONG

7. Brawl For All's Inconsistencies

A shoot fighting tournament on WWF TV was a terrible concept to begin with, but the guys involved worked wrestling matches on the side whilst the tourney was in progress. So, it just sorta looked like they were play fighting in between Brawl For All fights, and that was maddening even for fans in 1998.

Here's an example: Bart Gunn lost to Vader in a standard match on Sunday Night Heat, then boxed The Godfather 24 hours later on Raw. Make it make sense. The least anyone could've reasonably expected was that the writers would stick to their guns. Or, should that be “Gunns”?

Sorry.

Brawl For All was sh*te, but booking the guys in it to wrestle standard matches in between fights was bogus and more than a little ridiculous. It was as weird as it sounds to see Gunn go from bumping around for Vader to punching lumps out of people for real overnight.
