10 Times WWE Has Dropped The Ball With Bobby Lashley Since His Return

Speaking of the Superstar Shake-up from this past April, it was a mistake for WWE to keep Bobby Lashley on Raw instead of shipping him over to SmackDown Live where he belongs.

It made sense for him to return as a Raw roster member in 2018, but he'd be a better fit on the blue brand at this point, especially with Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre (his old allies) still on the show. Throw in Brock Lesnar and the newly turned AJ Styles and there's virtually no chance Lashley will be a top heel on Monday nights any time soon.

Meanwhile, SmackDown (specifically WWE champion Kofi Kingston) could really use some credible bad guys at the moment. Randy Orton's isn't always around, Kevin Owens turned face again, Dolph Ziggler is a joke, Lars Sullivan is out hurt, and no one knows what Daniel Bryan's deal is these days. In other words, Lashley would have been the perfect opponent for the Ghana-born champ.

Instead, he's been left to spin his wheels on Raw in a rivalry with Braun Strowman (which he came out on the losing end of at Extreme Rules). Here's hoping WWE realizes he'd be of more use on Tuesdays and decide to have him switch shows in time for SmackDown's move to FOX in October.
