10 Times WWE Posters Totally Lied To You

6. Bragging Rights 2010

Somewhere along the line, WWE changed their mind regarding the line-up for Bragging Rights 2010. That can be the only explanation, because the promotional poster for the event displayed a vastly different match to any that actually took place. The whole concept of Bragging Rights was eerily similar to Survivor Series. Team-based, elimination warfare was the name of the game. The only real difference was that Bragging Rights was a battle between Raw and Smackdown. The red team comprised of The Miz, R-Truth, John Morrison, Santino Marella, Sheamus, CM Punk and Ezekiel Jackson. The Smackdown side was made up of Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Tyler Reks and Kofi Kingston. That's not what the poster advertised. The Undertaker, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, Mark Henry, Kane, Randy Orton and Evan Bourne were all included in the face-to-face image. None of those competed in the Raw vs. Smackdown encounter. Some of them were involved in other bouts, such as Kane vs. The Undertaker, but why then were they shown on the same side on the poster?
