10 Times WWE Screwed Up With Seth Rollins
9. The Streak Ends
When Seth Rollins was eventually called up to WWE's main roster, it was in auspicious fashion. Alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, Rollins ran in on the main event of the 2012 Survivor Series, helping CM Punk defeat John Cena and Ryback.
This group, called The Shield, immediately made an impact in WWE - and amassed an impressive undefeated streak. First, the trio beat Team Hell No and Ryback at TLC 2012, then they felled Cena, Ryback, and Sheamus at Elimination Chamber. At WrestleMania, Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show fell to The Shield - it seemed as if no combination of superstars could figure out the way to defeat the three newcomers.
Unfortunately, the momentum wouldn't last. Though all three members of the team won gold (Reigns and Rollins became WWE Tag Team Champions while Ambrose won the United States Title), they lost to Team Hell No and Orton without warning on a random episode of SmackDown when Daniel Bryan submitted Rollins. Such an impressive streak deserved a more high-profile ending.
