10 Times WWE Screwed Up With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins's turn on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns - and his joining of The Authority - was a masterfully executed moment that immediately made him the top heel in all of WWE. Just weeks later, he won the Money in the Bank briefcase, proving that he'd be a world champion before long.
Rollins's first feud after the turn was with Ambrose, whom "The Architect" took care of at SummerSlam 2014. After that, there was nothing standing between Reigns and Rollins, and the two were scheduled to do battle at Night of Champions.
The thing about Seth Rollins in WWE - and the real reason why he hasn't been able to achieve his full potential - is that the company's decision-makers have only ever seen him as a means to get Roman Reigns over, which has been their ultimate goal for the past four years (a work in progress, clearly). It's impossible to say what would have happened had the two fought at the pay-per-view, as Reigns was sidelined days before the event with a hernia. Despite their scheduled bout, though, Reigns beat Rollins on Raw six days before Night of Champions.
What was the purpose of giving the match away a week early and putting Reigns over? Good question. It certainly didn't do Rollins any favors, and Reigns was soon gone.
