8. Hulk Hogan Vs The Former Friend

When he wasn't battering big b*stards, he was bantering off backstabbing old buddies. In the case of Andre The Giant, he was tasked with both.

Babyface Hogan was always a paragon of virtue even if his actions and words could occasionally be unpicked by heels motivated first by greed for the title and position he wore proudly. It teased the worst from his friends too, especially when Vince McMahon bought himself a "Sexy B*tch" of a boat off the back of 'The Hulkster' making towns with Paul

Bidding 'Mr Wonderful' farewell, Hogan made millions with Andre The Giant and Randy Savage as they too turned on him for the good of the cause. Each more vicious than the last, the WrestleMania payoffs netted small fortunes for all involved and McMahon a glass tower in Stamford to call his own.

A final effort with the device failed when Sid Justice earned cheers for dumping Hogan from the 1992 Royal Rumble, but it was reflective of times Vince McMahon was back then afraid of changing with - he understandably trusted the formula that had worked so well rather than what he perceived to be an impulse backlash against his golden goose.
