10 Times WWE Survivor Series Decisions Backfired

3. No For Show (2013)

By the time Reigns' spotlight began to turn many shades brighter, most fans believed Big Show was standing in the beam belonging to Daniel Bryan. When Bryan's quest to overthrow The Authority and win the WWE Championship failed in the fall of 2013, Show was inserted as Randy Orton's Survivor Series challenger.

Show even co-opted Bryan's "YES!" arm-thrusts for himself, trying to curry the same electric response that organic-crowd favorite Bryan was finding it easy to come by. Not the case for Show at Survivor Series, who found himself serenaded with chants of "boring" and "we want Bryan". The vitriol would only increase when Bryan remained out in the cold (though not for much longer) in favor of Batista in 2014, but Show was such a lame choice that he couldn't even draw wittier chants such as "Bluetista" or the like.
