10 Times WWE Totally Wasted Potential

9. Gail Kim

Gail Kim's WWE career will chiefly be remembered for the fact she was hired after JR introduced Vince McMahon to Asian-themed adult sites, and perhaps that she handed in her notice by deliberately eliminating herself from a battle royal.

In eras past, the company may have been able to get away with this without criticism, but we have evidence that Kim's undoubted talent went to waste. The Canadian star proved time and time again during a stellar career with TNA that she was one of the leading female stars of her generation.

What makes this particularly maddening is that WWE brought her back to the fold for a second time on the basis of her excursions in TNA. As with R-Truth and Bobby Roode, this was supposed to be their chance to right the wrongs of her disappointing first spell.

Alas, she just arrived a few years too early, never really given the opportunity to fight any meaningful matches as the likes of Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres, and Michelle McCool dominated the then-"Divas" division on Raw.
