10 Times WWE Tried (And Failed) To Swerve The Fans
5. DB Joins The Wyatt Family
Sure, Daniel Bryan began wearing a pair of navy blue overalls, and even grew a ridiculous, oversized beard - but did any of us really buy into the idea that he was going to become a fully-fledged member of the Wyatt Family?
It was predictable, almost from the very outset, that the former Ring of Honor star would eventually end up ditching his new conspirators. The only question was when and how - and, to be fair, that's exactly what made it so fun.
WWE didn't succeed in swerving the fans, but most definitely managed to entertain them. In fact, when D-Bry finally did turn his back on Bray, leading the crowd in a "YES" chant atop the steel cage, it was one of the most unforgettable moments of the modern era.
Not only that, but it also helped catapult him - albeit in a needlessly complicated, roundabout way - into the headline spot of WrestleMania XXX. It was a great example of how predictable doesn't always have to be a bad thing.
