10 Times WWE Tried The Same Failure TWICE

5. A Totally Useless International Bauble

Time to admit something: Your writer is a cheater.

Think of this as a temporary break in proceedings, because it's not something WWE stopped at doing twice. No, Vince McMahon has seen fit to promote more than two international baubles that meant precisely bugger all to viewers worldwide, and even he seemed to forget they existed a few weeks after they were won.

Braun Strowman's Greatest Royal Rumble championship belt, The OC's Tag-Team World Cup and The Undertaker's Tuwaiq Trophy were all utterly useless; it'll irk some fans that only Shane McMahon's WWE World Cup trinket had any sort of constructive character use when the promotion returned to the United States.

This phoned-in method of adding value to international shows didn't start when WWE struck a deal with Saudi Arabia either. Back in the mid-to-late-90s, the company also ran tournaments for the Kuwait Cup. They were as thrilling and impactful on main TV as they sound.
