10 Times WWE Tried The Same Failure TWICE

4. Brand-Invading Wild Cards

WWE's commentators made a big deal out of the fact FOX had exploited the bold "new" 'Brand-To-Brand Invitational' rules when Charlotte Flair recently popped up on SmackDown. According to the guidelines, certain wrestlers can appear up to four times per year on rival brands.

That sounds eerily like 2019's awful 'Wild Card Rule'.

'Wild Cards' failed last year and they'll fail again once WWE get bored of them. There's no way they'll stick to the "four times per year" format, just like they squished the previous shake-up attempt by changing how the 'Wild Card' trick worked, and this idea will be forgotten about within months.

It's baffling to see the creative team pretend 'Brand-To-Brand Invitational' means something different to 'Wild Card' too. They really should've come out and admitted that TV is stale right now, and explained away this haphazard booking style as beneficial to the shows during the current climate.
