5. The Ascension As The Road Warriors & Demolition
During their run in NXT, The Ascension were one of the most dominant teams featured on the brand, running through everyone who tried to oppose them. The two had a unique look and an intimidating presence, that was until they joined the WWE's main roster.
On the 29 December 2014 episode of RAW the two made their debut with a new far from unique Road Warrior inspired look. If the new look wasn't obvious enough they then went on in later weeks to spell out to everyone what they were doing, claiming to be the new incarnation of dominating teams of the past such as The Road Warriors and Demolition.
Of course, The Ascension did not compare to these legendary teams of the past, and as a result they were doomed right from the start. It wouldn't be long before they were being buried both in the ring and by JBL on commentary who made a point to remind us every week that The Ascension couldn't even lace the Road Warriors 'boots.
