One night before Vince McMahon left a stain on Night Two with that stunner sell, the worst kept secret of recent times was finally made official as 'The American Nightmare' returned to the sports entertainment sphere.

But it wasn't just the visual of Cody Rhodes' blonde hair popping up from beneath the ramp that made this one feel like a game-changer. The fact the former AEW EVP was also accompanied by his 'Kingdom' theme and decked out in the garms he'd been sporting throughout his time away from his former employer elevated this dreamlike occurrence to the point where you honestly felt like you'd fallen asleep mid-megashow.

Rhodes wasn't done making his new home the place to be, though.

A few months into his epic feud with 'Mania dance partner Seth Rollins, the eventual Royal Rumble winner created yet another instantly iconic and indubitably badass moment inside of Hell in a Cell.

Refusing to back out of his incoming war with 'The Visionary', Rhodes battled through a torn pec to defeat Rollins, all while showing off one of the most horrific looking bruises ever to enter the squared-circle.

Outrageous? Without a doubt. But in a way that made Rhodes look like the coolest man alive.
