10 Times WWE Was Literally As Stupid As WCW

7. Terrible Mini Movies

The only true difference between the notorious WCW mini-movies and WWE's cinematic pandemic output is that WCW's, at least, were so bad they were good.

A lot of people really liked the Undertaker Vs. AJ Styles Boneyard match. The Firefly Fun House match somehow made a spectacle of an empty arena show. Beyond that, everything else was absolutely f*cking sh*t. The Money In The Bank cinematic match couldn't even do slapstick correctly. The Eye For An Eye match was simply too good to be sh*t, in that Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins worked a pretty great match and spoiled the fun of the schadenfreude. Their bumping was a complete waste of time. The finish was always going to be the finish, and the finish saw Mysterio hold a cue ball against his head like it was a cold compress. The Bray Wyatt Vs. Braun Strowman Swamp Fight wasn't even a wrestling match. It was a procession of dire horror movie clichés in which Wyatt attempted to get into the complexities of Strowman's psyche.

Why?

Let's be honest, there's nobody in there, love.

In contrast, and this is pure nostalgia let's face it, Sid emerging from the sea in flip-flops and attempting to blow up Sting and the British Bulldog was at least piss-funny.
