10 Times WWE Wasted Female Talent
5. Jillian Hall
The idea of Jillian Hall as a serious competitor is unfortunately an alien one to those who watched her entire run on the main roster between 2005 and 2010.
Fans are far more likely to remember embarrassing storylines as opposed to any of the matches she ever competed in. That really shouldn't come as much of a surprise, when you consider the strange angles WWE weighed her down with.
Beneath the cheese and bad angles, WWE had a performer who stood out from all her peers. Unlike most of the women in wrestling at the time, Hall wasn't afraid to take risks and look silly. That willingness to experiment was ultimately her downfall, but if WWE had tweaked a few things, Hall's career might have been so much more than it was.
Having wrestled as Macaela Mercedes in numerous promotions, Hall entered WWE with nearly a decades worth of experience under her belt. Her use of a 450 Splash as a finishing move on the indies only helped make her more unique.
When you factor in her great technique and underrated comic timing, Hall should have enjoyed more than just one fluke Diva's Championship reign during her WWE career.
