10 Times WWE Went Wrong With Bayley On The Main Roster

5. Prematurely Ending Charlotte Flair's Pay-Per-View Streak (Fastlane 2017)

Contrary to popular belief, Charlotte Flair's impressive undefeated streak in championship matches on pay-per-view was never something that was intended from the very beginning. Rather, it just sort of happened along the way, and once the commentators began to bring it up more and more after WrestleMania 32, it became a big deal for her character.

WWE decided it was wise to put Charlotte over Sasha Banks in the latter's hometown of Boston at Hell in a Cell, and by that point, they should have waited until WrestleMania 33 to have her suffer her initial defeat on the grand stage. Then, she randomly lost the Raw Women's Championship to Bayley on Raw (more on that later) - but at the very least, her streak was still intact.

That was, however, until Fastlane 2017, when Bayley beat Charlotte with help from Banks yet again, handing the Flair family scion her first one-one-one defeat on pay-per-view in the process. Bayley losing the title less than a month after winning it wouldn't have been ideal, but it would have led to a more memorable moment at 'Mania.

Bayley's victory versus Charlotte on that night was tainted due to the interference from The Boss, hampering her title reign before it could really get underway.
