10 Times WWE's February PPV Was Better Than WrestleMania
2. In Your House 13: Final Four (1997)
Like some other WrestleMania cards discussed on this list, 'Mania 13 is memorable only for the stunning submission-soaked clash between Steve Austin and Bret Hart. There's no denying that such a match saved the entire show, one which had been limping along badly before the double turn occurred and Austin was left laying in a pool of his own blood. Claret came into play the previous month too, as part of the wicked 4-way collision that sat nicely in the main event slot of In Your House 13: Final Four. Indirectly, Shawn Michaels helped pave the way for one of the best matches of the year when he "lost his smile" and vacated the WWF Heavyweight Title early in 1997. On February 16 of that year, Austin and Hart were joined by The Undertaker and Vader to form a mouth-watering quartet. There's no denying the title match stole the show, but it was also backed up nicely by a decent match between Rocky Mavia and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. The Rock and Triple H (as they would later be known) have always had good chemistry together, and they excelled with the 12 minutes they were given.
