Sasha Banks has appeared in three Hell in a Cell matches in the last five years, against Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Bayley respectively. All of these matches have been remarkable, genuinely violent, narratively brilliant modern classics that cement Sasha as a great.

Her first against Charlotte Flair told a miraculous babyface performance, with the Boss fighting valiantly in her hometown to try and defeat her rival inside the steel structure. It was criminal that she didn’t win here, but the match was incredible. Both performers gave everything to showcase what women could do inside Hell in a Cell.

She would go on and deliver immensely in the Cell against Becky Lynch, where she portrayed a merciless heel trying to break the Irish champion’s body and spirit. She took outlandish bumps, found a million ways to hit the Meteora and delivered a performance of the ages in defeat.

Finally, she would face off against her biggest rival Bayley in an emotionally gripping narrative that combined physical brutality with storytelling excellence, evoking sheer catharsis from her long overdue victory inside the Cell.

No one else compares to her track record, and it seems inevitable that she has more greatness to give in there.
