10 Times You Couldn't Admit YOU WERE WRONG About WWE

9. Mocking Great Wrestling

One of the loudest complaints about WWE since forever has been that the promotion favours "sports entertainment" style over pro wrestling nuts n' bolts. Yes, it has done, but not 100% of the time. To claim otherwise would be an outright lie. Also, here's another truth.

Fans who'd shout about wanting more wrestling have taken a dump all over it when it's put in front of them. Case in point: Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules 2018. Folks there live for the pay-per-view ripped a blistering 'Iron Man' match to shreds with trolling chants and comedic Royal Rumble buzzer sounds as the on-screen clock counted down every single minute.

It was really rather annoying, and the workers were visibly peeved too. Dolph and Seth were putting on a scorcher of a match and giving their all, but some in Pittsburgh didn't seem to give a damn. Nah, they thought they'd put on one of the most arrogant displays of self-entitlement ever.

"We Are Awesome"? Not on that night, they weren't!
