On an episode of Impact, ODB informed the world that she was going to let one lucky guy spend the night with her. She chose Cody Deaner, and it was a match made in heaven.

A series of videos highlighted their dating and training life on a farm and at amusement parks, and they were pretty damn ridiculous. However, Deaner was so over-the-top that he was actually entertaining. He was like Heath Slater’s redneck lifestyle taken up to 10, possibly even 11. Deaner received quite a bit of TV time during his first few months in the company, but then after splitting up with ODB and losing to her in a match, his role was greatly reduced.

Someone in management must have grown tired of his antics and decided to shut the Deaner down. After 10 months in the company he was let go, and sent back to his trailer. Hopefully him and ODB have reconciled, and are starting a family together.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
