10 TNA Characters You Totally Don't Remember

5. Alissa Flash

Alissa Flash is largely forgotten in TNA, which is on the company, and not on her. She’s really talented, and doing nicely for herself in Lucha Underground in Mariposa, but TNA gave up on her character way too quickly.

She’s actually probably better remembered for her time in the company as Raisha Saeed, the manager of Awesome Kong. However, we never saw her face as she was wearing a Niqāb. As Flash, she was given a few singles match on the show, and engaged in a brief feud with Hamada where they most notably brawled in an empty Impact Zone. Flash, though, didn’t have much success in the ring and rarely came out on the winning side of things.

Once Dutch Mantell was ousted from power, the entire Knockouts Division collapsed, and Flash was no longer used. She asked for her release so she could just get the hell out of there.

She’s still young enough to someday make a return, but unless TNA is ever going to take their Knockouts division seriously again, then she’s probably better off continuing to do what she’s doing and remain forgotten to the company.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
