10 TNA Stars Perfect For WWE NXT Talent Exchange

If WWE is looking for TNA stars to put on some great technical wrestling matches, Jonathan Gresham is one of the best options on the table.

Gresham would have been a perfect fit for the Black & Gold era of NXT, which emphasized strong wrestling skills from some of the top indie wrestlers before AEW exploded onto the scene and started to snatch them up.

The Octopus' time in AEW and Ring of Honor didn't end well, with him requesting his release a few hours prior to dropping the ROH World Championship to Claudio Castagnoli, reportedly "cussing out" Tony Khan as he did so.

If it wasn't already a selling point to just list Jonathan Gresham against some WWE wrestlers on paper - be it a technician like Charlie Dempsey or a high-flyer like Axiom - starting a relationship with WWE could offer him another road to travel if he opted to leave TNA in the future.

It also certainly doesn't hurt that his significant other is Jordynne Grace. When your wife is the one sparking this cross-promotional endeavor and may sign with WWE once her TNA contract is up, maybe Gresham would be interested in scoping out the scenery for himself, too.
