10 TNA Wrestlers Who Should Have Been World Champion (But Never Were)

7. Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian, TNA
IMPACT Wrestling

A highly respected figure throughout the wrestling world for his high-renown in all manner of independent promotions, Kazarian was TNA's Mr. Reliable for the majority of its history. When in need of a tag team partner, emergency number one contender, reliable X-Division Champion, or even an agile body to play the enigmatic Suicide, TNA would turn to him.

Kazarian's remarkable consistency never really got him close to a TNA World Heavyweight Championship reign, his sporadic title shots always resulting in defeat to Samoa Joe or Kurt Angle. Although a five time X-Division champ, he was never trusted to make the leap to the company's top title - as AJ Styles, Austin Aries and Chris Sabin all were.

He left TNA in 2014 and is currently working in Ring Of Honor alongside old partner Christopher Daniels.
