10 Totally Backwards Wrestling Match Stipulations

Back in May, NWA wrestler Kamille accused fellow wrestler Thunder Rosa, who has also been a regular on AEW programming, of using the NWA for her own ends. Kamille offered to put her number one contender's spot up for grabs against Thunder Rosa at a date to be determined with the stipulation that if Thunder Rosa lost, she could ONLY work for NWA in the future.

Oi.

Firstly, isn't every wrestler using their contracted promotions for their own ends? They all get paid and they all get exposure because of the promotion they work for. Kamille is not wrestling for altruistic purposes because she loves NWA.

Secondly, why would NWA agree to this? With this stipulation they are, in essence, telling the world that working for them sucks, is small peanuts, is bush league. Pick your fave. Being limited to one promotion shouldn't be a punishment, it should be a privilege. NWA is doing nothing here but defining themselves down.

Now, to be fair, during the TV spot where this match was made, Kamille did her best to explain that this would be hard on Thunder Rosa because it would limit her to always being in Kamille's shadow, instead of being able to dominate 'lesser' women in AEW. Unfortunately, Thunder Rosa interrupted the dialogue flow constantly, meaning that Kamille's point was for the most part lost.

It was a time-limit draw, by the way.
