10 Totally Bizarre WWE Moments You'd Never Remember Without This Article!

9. The Second Weirdest Stable Ever Assembled

AJ Styles Vince McMahon
WWE

You know The Miz, correct?

Brash, charismatic distillation of how WWE wants a heel to operate.

You remember Alberto Del Rio, correct?

Bland, ***1/4 match merchant with an on-paper good gimmick that simply didn't connect. Also, a piece of sh*t.

You also recall the Brooklyn Brawler, probably, if you're a fan of a certain age?

Longtime road agent and perennial jobber who evolved from gimmicked prelim heel to half-endearing nostalgia act, always on hand to pad out a comedy battle royal or appear in a novelty backstage segment?

Right.

So that's two upper midcard or main event-adjacent PG Era heels, and one Golden Age relic who got on telly every now and then because he was always about and a familiar enough face to engineer a smattering of boos on behalf of some experimental heel or other.

All three men teamed together, as babyfaces (!), at TLC 2012. In the process, they defeated one of the top ever-present stars of 2022 in Drew McIntyre, who at the time was playing air guitar in 3MB.

He was likely playing Type O Negative in his head for how much he must have hated his f*cking life.
