Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy have been rivals for the better part of two decades, yet no matter how many times they square off, the two men find a way of pushing their physical limits.

Aware of Hardy's flair for extreme stunts, bouts with 'The Viper' often saw 'Brother Nero' hurling himself all around the arena. By the time Backlash 2018 rolled around, Hardy was reversing rest holds into aerial assaults, and Orton was dropkicking him into the crowd.

By the fall of 2018, though, the bitter foes truly upped the ante.

Fans were accustomed to seeing Orton's dastardly ways, especially against Hardy. Still, the 2018 Hell in a Cell match set an expectation of seeing some really disturbing sh*t anytime 'The Apex Predator' fought 'The Charismatic Enigma.'

For Orton, the ugly red cell didn't provide enough ways to tear Hardy down. So, he resorted to the infamous toolbox that tended to show up around Hell in a Cell time. 'The Legend Killer' proceeded to shove a screwdriver into Hardy's earlobe and twist. Granted he used Hardy's gauge hole, the visual of cartilage being twisted was incredibly unnerving.

To drill home the message that he would torment Hardy during all of their bouts, Orton paid homage to the gross sight by sticking his finger into the 'Team Xtreme' member's lobe and once again turning it inside out. Perhaps it's in Hardy's best interest for WWE to stop pitting him against 'The Viper.' And ours too.
