6. Lacey Evans Has A Flair For Charlotte's Dad

Upon her return at TLC 2020, many expected Charlotte's Flair partnership with Asuka to lead to an intense rivalry over the Raw Women's Championship.

Then Raw Legends Night happened.

Ric Flair stood in his daughter's corner as she and Asuka took on Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce. During the final moments, 'The Dirtiest Player in the Game' "inadvertently" tripped his daughter. The following week in a match against Evans, Ric pulled off a similar stunt that enraged 'The Queen' and suggested her foe was in cahoots with the legend.

For several weeks, WWE pushed the Evans-Flair storyline, borrowing suggestive training vignettes from Triple H and Trish Stratus days and teasing the idea that 'The Lady of WWE' was doing a little bit more than just learning from one of the greats.

Since its inception, the entire storyline has been cringeworthy. There wasn't much of a reason for a 71-year-old Flair to mingle with a 30-year-old, especially a rival to his daughter, who he brags about nonstop. Just to keep score, when Evans left the military, 'Ricky' could have been on his way to retirement.

The storyline only seems to be getting worse after Evans announced her real-life pregnancy, which WWE couldn't help but feed into the narrative. As it stands, the two-time Hall of Famer is portrayed as the father ("call me 'daddy'") of Evan's child. Whether Vince McMahon & Co give the child the Jason Jordan or Hornswoggle treatment has yet to be seen.
