10 Totally Unnecessary WWE Gimmick Changes

3. Brock Lesnar (MMA Badass > Cowboy)

Most wrestling fans would've laughed had anybody suggested that WWE would be pimping hashtags like "#CowboyBrock" when discussing Brock Lesnar's road to WrestleMania 38. The suplex-hitting wrecking ball had been presented as an ass-kicker with an MMA edge since returning to the fold in 2012, and it seemed like that would never change.

Now, in 2022, Lesnar is cutting more comedic promos than anybody expected and strutting around rocking cowboy hats like he's Jim Ross. Anyone who pays attention to such things will know that Brock often wears hats away from the ring, but that's never been something WWE has explored on their programming.

Cowboy...Brock is so, so random then. It's also weird when they're finally pulling the trigger on a big man vs. big man battle with Bobby Lashley. MVP and Bobby are playing it straight, but Lesnar is a b*llock hair away from yelling, "There's a snake in my boots" like he's starring opposite Buzz Lightyear at Royal Rumble instead.

Yeah, how strange is this?!
